Finito, almost

I am officially done with classes.

No. The video is not relevant, except for the sheer joy it brings me.

Also a baby penguin being tickled is the best thing ever.
While I greatly appreciate and enjoyed my time at UofL, I am incredibly happy to be done.

Sentimental post later, perhaps.

Till then, I'm about to go to the Granville with the first friend I made at UofL, Amanda.

And tomorrow I will write my senior practicum. Boo.

Farmer's Market

The farmer's market on Bardstown Rd has started up again. It's getting lively and will only livelier. I'm going to try and get fresh vegetables, fruit, cheese, and possibly eggs, bison, chicken or beef from there from now on. We'll see, I have limited funds, but the quality is so much better!

They didn't have much in the way of vegetables, I suppose they haven't had much chance to grow yet. I only got six apples and some goat cheese. The six apples cost me $3.25, which I think is pretty dang good. And the cheese cost $7. Sometimes even I have to splurge. Except now I need crackers for it.

Farmer's markets have such a lovely air around them. I feel like the farmers are more connected to their food and as a result, I am more connected to the food I buy. There's no middle man. I like it.

Here are my spoils (spoils being a partially literal term as this cheese is moldy!):

I ate one of the apples, that's why there are 5 and not six. I think it added a nice balance to the photos though. Yummy!

Anyone else hittin up nearby farmers' markets?

Hair

Well. My hair was gettin pretty ratty and since I will be interviewing for jobs, I decided I needed a cut that was manageable and professional. I know it's bad when all I do is throw it in a ponytail as soon as I get out of the shower. That won't work for fancy job interviews. So I got a lot cut off. Probably about 6 inches total.

It feels so weird! I like it a lot though and it will be interesting to see what it looks like naturally. This will be wayyyyy easier to manage day-to-day.

What do yall think?

Ps. that's the necklace Joe got me for our 1-year anniversary! :)
